Privacy, terms & student data

Privacy policy
Reset AI Tutor collects only what is needed to deliver lessons: your account email, your profile details, your lesson progress, and the usage counts we meter for billing. We do not sell personal information, and we do not run advertising on the platform.
Camera and microphone access is used only while an interactive session is running, and only after you grant permission in your browser. Snapshots and recordings created inside a session are stored in your account and can be deleted by you or your team administrator at any time.
Data is stored with our infrastructure providers in the United States, protected in transit and at rest, and access is restricted by row-level security rules to you, your team administrators, and the staff roles you have been assigned.
Student data — FERPA & COPPA
When a school or district uses Reset AI Tutor, the school remains the owner of all student records. We act as a school official with a legitimate educational interest under FERPA and process student data only on the school's instructions.
For learners under 13, the school or the parent provides verifiable consent before an account is created, consistent with COPPA. We collect no more personal information than is reasonably necessary for participation, and we never condition participation on disclosing extra data.
Student data is never used to train third-party foundation models. On request from the school, we will export or permanently delete a student's records, and we delete inactive student data within 12 months of a contract ending.
Clinical & health data
Clinical training modules are designed for professional practice and simulated scenarios. Do not enter real, identifiable patient information into lessons, notes, or chat. If your organization requires protected health information to be handled inside the platform, a signed business associate agreement must be in place first.
How AI is used
Lessons are delivered by AI instructors that generate speech, video, and text responses. Content is generated in real time and can be imperfect — instructors and supervisors should review AI output before relying on it for grading, clinical, or legal decisions.
Session transcripts are used to keep the instructor in context during your session and to show you your own history. Behavioral observations produced in supervision mode are support tools for a human observer, not automated determinations about a person.
Terms of service
By using Reset AI Tutor you agree to use the platform lawfully, to keep your credentials secure, and not to attempt to bypass access controls, scrape the service, or resell access. Team administrators are responsible for the seats they issue.
Paid plans renew automatically for the interval you selected until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the billing page; access continues through the end of the paid period. Metered allowances reset monthly and do not roll over.
The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim. We may update these terms and will post the new effective date here.
